Olive Osuoji, MD

Olive Osuoji MDOlive Osuoji is a first-year dermatology resident at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. She attended medical school in Nigeria, where she developed a passion for dermatology. After immigrating to the US, she completed internal medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Elmhurst) at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. She subsequently moved on to a clinical and translational research fellowship at the University of California San Diego, elucidating the relationship between the skin microbiome and inflammatory skin diseases. Given an interest in complex medical dermatology, she spent a year at Emory University School of Medicine as a clinical and research fellow in autoimmune blistering disease. She was awarded 1st place winner at the 2023 National Medical Association Dermatology Fellow Research Symposium. Dr. Osuoji enjoys Pilates, spending time with her family, traveling, and reading nonfiction.
