On this Mnemonic Monday, we challenge you to remember plants producing the allergen sesquiterpene lactone with the following mnemonic:

ChChrysanthemum, Chamomile

SSunflower

Dandelions and Marigolds

Remember that this allergen cross-reacts with pyrethrins, so patients with chrysanthemum allergy should avoid permethrin
