Dr. Michael Payette

Dr. Michael Payette received his B.A. in Biochemistry at Dartmouth College in 2002.  In 2008, Michael graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the School of Business, earning him an MD as well as an MBA with a concentration in healthcare management.  Dr. Payette completed his medical internship at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachussetts.  He returned to Connecticut in 2009 to complete his dermatology residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.  Dr. Payette joined the faculty at UConn in 2012.  He divides his time between treating patients, teaching residents and medical students, and serving as the associate residency program director.  His areas of interest are inflammatory skin disorders, biologic medications, skin cancers, and health care economics.
