Nikhil Shyam, MD is a medical writer at Next Steps in Derm. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University where he studied nutrition and biochemistry. Subsequently, he worked at the Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed his internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. He is currently completing his residency in Dermatology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. His areas of interest include skin cancer, hair loss, platelet rich plasma, cosmetics and translational research in Dermatology.
