Ask a Mentor: Career Development and Advocacy

Next Steps In Derm is proud to announce another round of our new recurring series: Ask a Mentor. In this monthly segment, we will identify an accomplished mentor in the field of Dermatology to field your questions about career development and their unique areas of expertise.

Our mentor this month is Kelley P Redbord MD.  Dr. Redbord is an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at George Washington University. She is an accomplished Mohs surgeon, having completed her residency at the University of Cincinnati and her fellowship training at Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Indiana. She is active in many professional societies including the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, Women’s Dermatologic
Society and the International Hyperhidrosis Society as well as being involved in advocacy work through SkinPAC and the AADA where she is chair of the Congressional Policy Committee, among others.

Dr. Redbord will be answering your questions in regards to career development, especially in the field of Mohs surgery, as well as how to get involved in advocacy within our profession. Please email us at [email protected] with any questions you would like to submit to Dr. Redbord.
