IMCAS organizes international congresses to provide teaching of the highest quality at the interface of plastic surgery and dermatology.
Our academic and social e-learning platform, IMCAS Academy, is dedicated to aesthetic medicine and dermatology and offers a digital anytime, anywhere approach that stretches beyond our famous congresses and offers learning at your fingertips. Our platform provides access to 900 video lectures from IMCAS conferences across the world, specific courses for 15 different themes, exclusive services for aesthetic professionals’ everyday practice, and the opportunity to share and discuss with the global aesthetic community.
Who do you publish?
We publish video lectures, scientific papers, interviews and articles, by international experts in the fields of aesthetics and dermatology. To date we have 370 contributors, a number that will continue to increase over time.
Who are your members?
Our members are aesthetic practitioners from all over the world, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North and South America, and a small percentage from Africa and Oceania. What they have in common is that they all share the same goals and values: to learn, exchange and stay informed on the latest innovations and trends in aesthetics.
How do your members benefit?
We offer our members over 170 courses and 900 lectures of strong scientific content, meaning they are able to diversify their learning through multiple themes. Our content is continuously growing and improving, and integrates digital formats such as live webinars and forums.
In addition to the top quality scientific content, IMCAS Academy has integrated a social aspect for all its members. Everyone is able to interact, share and exchange on this platform by commenting, sending messages and accessing doctor profiles.
What events do you have coming up?
The IMCAS Annual World Congress, one of the largest multi-specialty conferences dedicated to aesthetic medicine in the world, returns to Paris for its 19th edition, from 26 to 29 January 2017.
IMCAS is also moving into a new region this year with the inaugural congress of IMCAS Americas, which will take place in beautiful Cancun on 24 to 26 March 2017.
What do you contribute to dermatology?
We contribute to the training of dermatologists by providing teaching of the highest quality. Our congresses take place several times a year in superb locations. The local aesthetic market of the host country informs our content. Making each of our events unique. Through IMCAS Academy we can offer dermatologists, and other aesthetic practitioners, access to great scientific content whenever they need it.

We work with researchers rather than carrying out our own research.

What is something unique about your society?
IMCAS has 20 years’ experience in organizing congresses. We drew on this experience when creating the first e-learning platform dedicated to aesthetics and dermatology. We responded to a need from our attendees; as they could not attend the sessions in eight rooms. In parallel, they needed another way to access all of the sessions on offer.
Thanks to our active community of worldwide experts, IMCAS Academy’s platform is now spreading its knowledge and expertise all over the world.
