When there is a rapid eruption and increase in size of SKs, there can be concern for underlying malignancy, of which the most common associated is gastric adenocarcinoma, and then colon and breast cancer. It can also be associated with acanthosis nigricans and tripe palms. This can also be seen in patient who were erythrodermic. It is not associated with psoriasis or lichen planus (D, E).
