About Dr. Leslie Baumann

Leaslie BaumannDr. Leslie Baumann is an internationally renowned board-certified dermatologist, bestselling writer, media personality, sought-after lecturer and the CEO of Baumann Dermatology. Dr. Baumann has served as a Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami where she founded the first Academic Cosmetic Dermatology Research Institute in the Unites States in 1997. Dr. Baumann founded Baumann Cosmetic & Research Institute (BCRI) in 2009 which has since become internationally known for its role in bringing cosmetic product and procedure innovations thru the FDA approval process and into the hands of physicians who Dr. Baumann personally trains on new techniques. Dr. Baumann’s extensive experience as a Professor of Dermatology, Author and Researcher gives BCRI’s patients access to the most cutting-edge science and technologies to improve the skin and body’s healthy and appearance. In 2014, Dr. Baumann founded Skin Type Solutions Franchise Systems LLC which uses a turn-key in office skincare retail methodology based on the 16 Baumann Skin Types® that is now used by over 100 doctors to train their staff and prescribe efficacious skincare regimens and treatment plans to their patients.   This system provides an online retail store and educational material offered through participating doctors.

Dr. Baumann’s research has been instrumental in the FDA approval of Botox, Dysport, Kybella, Voluma, Sculptra, Juvéderm, Restylane Silk, UltraShape Power, Ulthera, Rhofade, Mirvasco, Tazorac foam, Tri-Luma and other groundbreaking drugs and treatments. She has authored over 190 medical publications. She is a Fellow of the prestigious American Dermatological Association, member of the American Academy of Dermatology and board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
